The Greatness of Nature C/O Bocconi University
Paolo Chenet was born in Milan and now lives and works in the city, but this would be difficult to deduce from his photographs. Remote places, uncontaminated spaces and the majesty of nature are the main focuses of his pictures, that will be displayed to the public in the Sala ristorante of Bocconi University in Via Sarfatti 25 from January 12 to March 6th 2015. Starting with the inauguration on January 12, at 6 pm, people will be able to admire the author's works. The exhibition has been organized by Isu Bocconi – Divisione studenti, with the purpose of letting people know about the work of the artist, which during his 40 years of activity has always kept away from the arts market.
Therefore, in Chenet's work there is no space for the exaltation of the individual ego that characterizes modern society, but instead the human being is almost inexistent, if not marginal. Nature, with its beauty, power and perfection, reigns within the artist's photography. This amazing occasion is a chance to let yourself be carried away from the crowded and frantic city, at least for a little bit.
